Universal Rig is a piling company based out of Red Deer, Alberta, servicing all of Western Canada. Our main focus is CIP (cast-in-place) and screw piling foundations servicing the industrial/commercial/residential and telecom construction industries.

Universal Rig puts an emphasis on safety and maintains current employee training for our industry. Our equipment is highly maintained by qualified mechanics and operated by well-trained drillers. With 60+ years of combined experience, Universal Rig will ensure our client’s needs are met in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

Universal Rig is looking for a Excavator and/or Piling Rig Operator to join our team in Red Deer, Alberta.

Job Requirements:

  • Class 3 License with at least 3 years of clean driving experience and provide a letter from previous employer(s).
  • Heavy equipment operation experience (specifically excavator, skidsteer, telehandler and merlo).
  • Piling/ drilling experience, preferred.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Willing to work away from home, in outside conditions.
  • Safety Tickets: Standard First Aid, H2S Alive and CSTS/PST.
