CIP Pile
A concrete pile is what is commonly used to anchor and support structures to the earth. We use an assortment of steel augers from 12” to 96” in diameter to drill holes in the earth at various depths up to 60’ deep. Once holes are drilled, they are then filled or “poured” full of concrete and reinforced by rebar cages to complete the pile.
Permanent or Temporary Casings
Casing is used in the piling industry when unsuitable soil conditions arise. The method behind casing a pile is installing a steel liner into the open pile excavation when sloughing soils are encountered. Sloughing soils can be caused by excessive sand, the presence of water or loose material as you are augering. Casing can be permanent or temporary (in most cases it is removed as rebar and concrete are installed). We provide casing from 12″ to 96″ diameter in various lengths.
