Screw Piles

Screw Piles

A screw pile or a helical pile is a type of deep foundation system used to support loads such as buildings, fencing, signage, and other infrastructure. Screw piles are typically manufactured using varying sizes of tubular hollow sections of steel pipe and welded “helixes” of different thicknesses and diameters to meet specific loads based on torque requirements. Screw piles can be installed through various soil stratas and can be hot-dip galvanized to withstand corrosion in wet conditioned soils.
